On August 1, 2023, TFALAC rolled out its Red Flag Down campaign to stop Governor Bill Lee’s Red Flag gun control proposal. Governor Lee is trying to “rebrand” his gun control package as reasonable public safety calls. Yet, polling shows that 84% of Tennesseans reject the Governor’s Red Flag proposal when they learn that the Governor wants to leave the dangerous individuals in the community and that he is only concerned with setting up a way for the government to seize guns.
